Virtual One-Stop Services

Citizens
Virtual One-Stop allows citizens to research the status of unemployment benefits, assess their skills, prepare resumes, research and compare training opportunities, explore the regional labor market, and search and apply for jobs in the Washington Metropolitan area.

Employers
Area employers can use Virtual One-Stop to place job orders and search for applicants by skill-set or position. The system also accommodates the employer looking for specific industrial and economic data and has a series of Internet links to a variety of issues and topics of interest to employers.

Trainers
Local training providers have the ability to add or update information on current training courses facilitating citizens' access to up-to-date information on training programs and their performance. Virtual One-Stop offers a "Consumer Reports" feature that allows citizens to research and compare approved training programs in high demand occupations.

DOES's DC Networks Virtual One-Stop is part of the Virtual One-Stop workforce development system bringing employers and job-seekers together in more than 30 states.
