Final District of Columbia Two-Year Strategic Plan Under the WIA

The District of Columbia implemented the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 on July 1, 2000. This Two-Year Plan, including attachments, is intended to modify or enhance changes in the delivery of employment and training services, covering a specified time frame of July 1, 2007 thru June 30, 2009. Each State is required to submit a plan outlining how it plans to make such changes in order to be in compliance with the legislation.

The District of Columbia's WIA Strategic Two-Year Plan (and attachments) is now available for public review and may be downloaded from this page.
