Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) – (October 2012 – April 2013) At DMPED, I served as co-project manager on a $400M+ real estate and economic development portfolio, including the technology-oriented rehabilitation of the 180-acre St Elizabeth’s East Campus, as well as the redevelopment of the 66-acre Walter Reed Army Medical Center. I also developed a data governance solution for citywide affordable housing projects through business process re-engineering, and worked with the Chief of Staff on agency capital budget formulation, and grant/loan/contract creation and execution.
- Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department, Office of the Fire and EMS Chief (FEMS) – (May 2012 – September 2012) At FEMS, I headed a five-person team that are designing and launching a data-driven performance management/resource allocation system. We expanded and implemented a quantitative analysis methodology to assess neighborhood-level risk, service delivery, and unit performance of FEMS vehicles. I also worked with managers to correct, streamline, and execute reporting of agency performance plan elements, including key performance indicators, to the Office of City Administrator.
