Dr. Hershey is a consulting engineer in energy and environmental projects. His work emphasizes cost and feasibility studies for new technologies in electric power, heating, air quality, and noise reduction.
Dr. Hershey previously served as Secretary of the D.C. Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. His experience has included management of consulting groups at Booz Allen & Hamilton and Science Management Corporation. He also worked with Bell Telephone Laboratories, Weston Instruments, and BBN.
Dr. Hershey holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Tufts University, a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in engineering from Catholic University of America.
