Mr. Landis has over 25 years of experience in residential remodeling and real estate development. Brother and architect Christopher joined Mr. Landis in 1990 to form Landis Construction Corporation, a design/build firm that just celebrated its nineteenth year serving hundreds of clients in DC, MD and VA. Between 1984 and 1990, Mr. Landis was involved in the development of a number of small apartment buildings and homes.
The company designed and constructed its own geothermal heated and cooled, 16,000 square foot, three story office building in Takoma, DC in 2006 and in 2009, completed its first LEED for Homes project. The home is located in historic Georgetown and was only the second in DC to be certified at the Platinum level.
Mr. Landis is a National Association of the Remodeling Industry Certified Remodeler, a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional and holds a B.S degree in Political Science from Swarthmore College and an MBA in Finance from the George Washington University.
