Agency PerformancePlans and Preparedness Division
The mission of the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, Plans and Preparedness Division (P&P) is to administer a comprehensive community-based all-hazard emergency management planning program that supports emergency operations initiated to mitigate, prepare, protect, plan and recover from natural and manmade hazards. The Division devises measures to facilitate rapid recovery of the community, critical functions and restoration of essential infrastructure. Also, planners develop approaches for reducing the loss of life, minimizing property damage.
