(Washington DC) – The DC Department of Employment Services is pleased to announce that it will extend the operating hours of its American Job Centers beginning Monday, April 7, 2014. The new operating hours will be Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Customers seeking assistance while filing for unemployment insurance benefits will be able to do so Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The District has four (4) American Job Centers located throughout the District:
Headquarters – 4058 Minnesota Avenue, NE
Northeast – UDC-CC - Bertie Backus Campus, 5171 South Dakota Avenue, NE, 2nd Floor
Northwest – Frank D. Reeves Municipal Center, 2000 14th Street, NW, 3rd Floor
Southeast – 3720 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, SE
