Resources for Residents

Photo of family sitting in front yard

The environment is intrinsically tied to public health. And so, at the Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE), our work revolves around maintaining the health and safety of our residents. From assessing environmental risks in air quality to keeping our rivers and water clean to providing energy assistance to those in need, DOEE works tirelessly to protect our local environment and ensure that District residents have the resources they need to incorporate environmentally friendly practices in their day-to-day activities.
