The Defend Integrity Initiative is an interactive and technological effort to reduce fraud and expand the reach and delivery of in-depth unemployment information to all claimants. The Defend Integrity Initiative will conduct virtual classroom sessions to instruct UI claimants on how to complete the weekly continued claim form for unemployment benefits.
The Defend Integrity: Virtual Classroom features the following:
- The 25-minute video (approximately) providing claimants with important information related to unemployment claims
- Live question and answer sessions with the Department of Employment Services (DOES) staff regarding unemployment eligibility and compliance
- Instructional sessions available across devices: (desktop, tablets, and mobile phones)
Beginning May 8, 2018, new claimants may be selected to attend the Defend Integrity: Virtual Classroom. For more UI information, please visit the DOES website at Unemployment Compensation or, for those who are currently receiving unemployment benefits, visit Claimant Services at www.dcnetworks.org.
