(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Wednesday, November 15, the DC Department of Employment Services (DOES) will celebrate DC Apprenticeship Week at the DC Department of Public Works (DPW), the District’s only government apprenticeship partner. DC Apprenticeship Week highlights the District’s apprenticeship programs through the Office of Apprenticeship, Information and Training (OAIT).

There are currently more than 290 registered apprenticeship sponsors (employers and trade unions) with the District, who provide apprenticeship training to over 1,185 District residents across all eight Wards.
