(Washington, DC) – Tomorrow, the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services (DOES), located at 4058 Minnesota Avenue NE and the four American Job Centers – located at 4058 Minnesota Avenue NE, 5171 South Dakota Avenue NE, 2000 14th Street NW and 3720 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue SE – will open at 1:00 p.m. The delayed opening is due to an agency-wide professional development session.
All Unemployment Insurance (UI) hearings will occur as scheduled. UI customers scheduled to attend tomorrow’s Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) session who have not already rescheduled their appointment, should call (202) 576-3092 to reserve a space in Friday’s session.
Standard business operations will resume on Friday, February 17, with DOES opening at 8:30 a.m. and all AJC locations opening at 9:30 a.m.
The Department of Employment Services (DOES) is the District’s lead labor, workforce development agency, and responsible for providing District residents with critical employment readiness and job training services, and District businesses with a qualified pool of potential employees.
