The College Fellowship Program (CFP), administered by DOES under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult Program, is a professional development initiative designed to support recent college graduates who are District residents in transitioning into meaningful, in-demand public or private sector careers. The program is funded through a U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration grant that supports the District’s Title I Adult and Dislocated Worker Programs. In addition to work experience, the six-month paid fellowship includes wraparound supports where fellows gain hands-on experience, professional mentorship, industry-recognized training, and leadership development.
