Radiologic Technologist

Training Provider: MedStar Washington Hospital Center Medical Imaging School of Radiology

Seats Available: 3

Structure and Schedule: Training is a combination of in-person instruction and a paid externship later in the program.

  • Instruction: 11-17 credit hours per semester; schedule dependent upon course catalog
  • Paid externships: N/A, clinical experienced gained within courses.

Program Length: 22 months

Pay Rate During Externship: $17.50/Hour

Completion: Program completers will receive a certificate showing achievement of the required knowledge and skills to be a Radiologic Technologist.

Credential Eligibility: Program completers will be eligible to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography exam to earn a Radiography Certification.

Credential Eligibility: Program completers will be eligible to sit for the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) exam to earn a Tech in Surgery (TC-S) certification.
