Program Length: Varies, up to 6 months. (An individualized training plan is developed based on an assessment of each participant's experience/skills.)
Pay Rate During Training: $17.50 - $21.42/hour
Completion: Program completers will receive a certificate showing achievement of the required knowledge and skills to be a Patient Care Technician.
Credential Eligibility: Program completers will be eligible for the National Health career Association (NHA) National Certified Patient Care Technician exam to earn a Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) certification.
DC Licensure Eligibility: Program completers are eligible to receive a Patient Care Technician license through the DC Board of Nursing.
